This is my absolute favorite Anime theme. This theme is unfortunately only in the German version.

Otaku no video, both opening and ending themes are so great. The opening is a hymn for all anime fans.

Street Fighter 2 V had a great opening both in english and Japanese. Really enjoyed the end theme for the hellising ova's.

1/3 no junjou na kanjou by Siam Shade (Rurouni Kenshin). I loooove singing along to this.

Also I'm really partial to DaizyStripper's cover of Ai wo Torimodose (Hokuto no Ken - it's the infamous "YOU wa SHOCK!!!" song). Never saw the anime, but I am a fan of visual kei, and there are a bunch of collections of anime covers that I've listened to.

No particular reason why.I just find them to be good songs but for the HxH ending, its the perfect transition for the Phantom Troupe arc. I love it, especially when it plays during HxH

Less on its own and more on the context of the anime itself. For clarification, heres the opening for Asobi Asobase:

A bunch of cute moe blobs singing about love and playing!

That is not what that show is. Asobi Asobase might be closest an anime has ever gotten to to replicating the comedy of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Basically it's about three girls (one a rich girl who nevertheless is so jealous of anyone's happiness that she routinely goes on rants about how girls have to be sluts in order to land a boy, another is such a misandryst that despises men, and the other is a foreigner who hides that she can speak Japanese in order to use people) and how they basically make the lives of those around them miserable. Ending is the reality: A heavy metal track in which the lead girls rant about popular girls.

For me one of my most favorite anime OP's is "This Game" from no game no life, I've listened to various versions from English covers by leeandlie, and instrumental covers too.
I don't know why I like it, I just do lol.
