A new Smart TV App I've been working on

@viperlasson: hey this is a cool app, now I noticed all the discussion is surrounding LG tv's?

I was wondering whether this app works across all android smart TV's or is can even be sideload as an APK, Thanks 😁

@armoredmachine: In it's current state, the app is coded to work specifically with LG smart smart TVs (uses some LG libraries & control key codes).

The source code is semi-open if you'd like to review it, let me know.

I've given up development on it due to LG's horrible support for "old" devices.

@viperlasson: oh that's a bummer, based on what I know, developing for different "app stores" is annoying, especially with different architectures/systems.

Anyway, I have no coding knowledge anyway, thanks for the reply though.

Good news, looks like LG finally pushed an update to older tv models to accept the cert gb uses. Chewiebomb is working on my TV again without any changes on my side.

Working on mine as well.
