Guess the Game Thread

I honestly look forward to doing one of these every day (if it wasn't obvious from my stats lol ). Didn't see an other mention of it so I want to be sure others have tried out this gem. For those who dont know you get 6 tries to guess a game based on screenshots and some hints.

Hmm, interesting, hadn't heard of this. Got today's correct after seeing three screens (the first two were very unhelpful).

Only helped that I played this game recently and absolutely hated it, so the images were bringing back PTSD. First guess was VERY CLOSE to the actual.

I got today's (11th April 2023) in one guess. I'd say it was luck, but something about the way those pixels were drawn put me straight to the answer in under a second.

I too felt very confident with today's puzzle. But alas it took me the 2nd try. The first pic is so obscure, but still felt familiar.

If I hadn't gotten this one I never could have forgiven myself. One of my favorite games. I love that I'm apparently the third person who got it simply from a shot of a friggin' ground texture. @hhap@hurricanejas.

Didn't get today's (13/04/23) because that ain't a genre I pay much attention to.

Wow finally couldn't get one. As the above user mentioned, it's also a platform/genre I don't dabble with much. Also going through the extra hints, I finally got to see that they also give you more additional hints than just a picture in the top left corner that I didn't notice before as I was solving these earlier (metacritic score,platform/genre, videoclip, etc.)

I met my wife on this game goddamnit.

Should have gotten it the first try, but the name escaped me, so I randomly picked another game in that genre. By the 2nd hint, the game name came to me.
