    Overview

    Smoke and Sacrifice is a steampunk action-RPG that employs a lot of survival game mechanics, including crafting equipment and consumables and finding ways to keep out of danger in a hostile environment. It was released on Steam and Nintendo Switch originally in May 2018 and later ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2019.

    The goal of the game is for Sachi, a humble farmer living on the surface, to brave the depths to find her son, Lio, who she gave up in a community-demanded religious ritual. Finding allies and enemies alike in a large and strange subterranean world, as well as a regular influx of toxic fog, Sachi must figure out where her son has gone and how she might return to the world she knew.
