Roguelikes I Like
Just for fun, and to update over time
Just for fun, and to update over time
The reason I decided to make this list. It's quite good
The first game I loved that was technically a roguelike
The peak of the genre? It's a perfect game, even though I suck at it
One of the GOAT's. Maybe this is the peak
Not for me but respect
This one lets you know in the name. Sunk in a few dozen hours at least
Didn't feel like one when I played this, but it fits
Didn't play, but fun to watch
Did play, but not enough to get hooked
Didn't click but has a great look
Loved this one, still holds up. Stealth, strategy and style
Timeless, original and challenging
Rhythm and action, sure why not
Never came close. Only pain
Just as stressful, but still remember this one fondly. It's a gem
Had it running on my desktop for a while
Didn't beat it but had a good time
Exploration and dungeon crawling in pixel heaven
Tried on a whim and couldn't put it down. Good mix of story and gameplay
If roguelikes were peanut butter, deck builders would be the jelly
Pre-Balatro Balatro-like
A solid strategic follow up to FTL
Maybe this is where it started. I liked this entry quite a bit too, fwiw
A narrative Arthurian roguelike with turn-based strategy combat, that's cool as fuck
Played more of this than I care to admit. Feels like it fell from the Windows 95 era, in a good way.
More than just cards, but the card parts hit
Just when I thought I was done, they pull me back in
Just when I thought I was done, etc.
Plenty of juice left in the squeeze
