Filter by multiple years

I was curious if there was a wildcard, or any way to filter results by multiple years?

This works:

&filter=original_release_date:1998-11-21

I'm just wondering if there's a way to remove the year for instance so I could search every game release Nov 21st.

I found an older post that mentioned adding 0s, but I'm not sure if that was a suggestion for an update or actual documentation. Either way the following does not seem to work:

&filter=original_release_date:00-11-21

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
